Always Respect Move Over Laws

We here at Larry H. Miller Toyota Peoria not only respect our customers but we also make sure to thank our first responders, police, firefighters, and public safety departments for the work that they do; a vast majority done as volunteers. We ask that anyone who happens to purchase one of our vehicles to make sure that they move over and give plenty of clearance to any vehicle that is being driven by a police officer, firefighter, or EMT and ambulance driver. As a matter fact it is the law that one must pull over and yield to emergency vehicles.

All states have some sort of move over law as it pertains to yielding when it comes to police cars, ambulances, and firetrucks. The law also one that involves stopped vehicles. States usually require at least a one lane buffer for stopped emergency vehicles. These laws are very important because it allows for these responders to be able to do their jobs without any interference. Move over laws are meant to protect the driving public as a whole.

Larry H. Miller Toyota Peoria likes to remind you that you should always respect move over laws. If you have any questions about our selection of vehicles, you are always welcome to visit our dealership!
