For cars that are 2003 and older, you will need to change your engine oil and filter at every 3 months or 3,000 miles depending on what over comes first.
For cars that are 2004 and newer, you would be getting your oil changed every 5 months or 5,000 miles.
In 2010, Toyota started using synthetic oil on some of their engines. The synthetic engine vehicles that are 2010 and newer need to have their oil and filter changed every 10 months or 10,000 miles.
