Toyota's iconic, no-excuses sports car. The long-awaited return of the Toyota Supra finally came about in summer 2020. While the Supra aims at a limited market segment, Toyota President Akio Toyoda is committed to producing exciting products, and bringing back the Supra was a first step in fulfilling that commitment. Toyota partnered with BMW to produce the Supra, sharing the 2019 BMW Z4 roadster platform. The two vehicles, however are distinctly different sports cars as cooperation was limited to the core of the co-developed car.
