Newest member of the Corolla Family
Based on the ever-popular Corolla Sedan, this entry into the small crossover SUV market adds a heaping helping of versatility and everyday convenience to the already incredible Corolla package. In the Toyota lineup, the 2022 Corolla Crosss fits in between the C-HR and the RAV4.
The Corolla Cross is offered in Phoenix and Peoria in L, LE and XLE trims, with available AWD starting in the fall of 2021. On all trims, the front end features a distintive black grille flanked by LED lighting; black accent lower body panneling adds interest along the sides; and rear design elements include an integrated rear spoiler and LED lighting with an available power liftgate.
West Valley crossover shoppers will find the inside reminiscent of the popular Corolla Sedan, but offering some extra spaciousness, along with available options for a power moonroof, SofTex-trimmed seating, 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat, with lumbar and heated front seats. Additional cargo space is supplied through standard 60/40 splitting rear seats.
Fun Driving and Efficient
Phoenix-area crossover drivers will like Corolla Cross's 2.0L Dynamic Force engine and Direct shift CVT, shared with the Corolla sedan's sportier "S" grades. The 169-horsepower combined with a physical first gear delivers an engaging driving experienc without compromising efficiency. You'll also have the versatility of being able to tow up to 1,500 pounds. In All-Wheel Drive versions, more efficiency is gained by the Dynamic Torque Control system which can apply up to half the power to rear wheels when needed, and disengage completely when not needed.
The 2022 Corolla Cross offers up a manufacturer-estimated 32 combined MPG for the FWD model and 30 combined MPG for the AWD model.

Safety and Tech
The new Toyota Corolla Cross carries advanced technology including an available 7-inch Multi-Information Display with a digital instrumentation layout and an available 8-inch multimedia touchscreen. Standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity will give you access to many of your favorite smartphone apps plus Amazon Alexa digital assistant. Base model has standard USB connection or get Wireless device charging as standard on the LE and XLE trims. The XLE comes with two additional USB ports as well for rear-seat passengers. The available Audio Plus multimedia with Remote Connect package features a nine-speaker JBL sound system.
All Corolla Cross come standard with Toyoa's Safety Sense and STAR Safety System. In addition, blind spot montior and rear cross-traffic alert are standard on the LE and XLE, while front and rear parking assist with auto braking is standard on the XLE.
